The Communication Acoustics Lab hosted a visiting PhD student Ms Wageesha Manamperi from Australian National University (Supervisors: Prof Thushara Abhayapala, Dr Prasanga Samarashinghe) to work on the joint research on drone audition. She also gave a seminar titled “Drone Audition: Characterisation, Localization, Enhancement of the Soundfield from Drone-embedded Microphone Array” at the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering which was co-hosted by the IEEE NZ Signal Processing and Information Theory Chapter.
