The Communication Acoustics Lab jointly held workshops with the System #1 laboratory (PI: Professor Hiroshi Saruwatari) of the University of Tokyo to report recent studies on extreme acoustic sensing and exchange ideas. The workshops were held both in Auckland and Tokyo by bilaterally visiting the collaborator’s lab. These workshops are funded by the Royal Society of New Zealand: Japan-New Zealand Joint Research Programme, which was delayed due to the border closure caused by Covid19.
